About IBD Yorkshire
The IBD Yorkshire is a regional group of a national network of business advisers called the Initiatives In Business Development.
The aim of the group is to bring experienced professionals together to deliver real advice and solutions to SME's who may not be able to afford or justify normal consultancy premiums.
The members of the IBD prefer the term adviser rather to consultant and are from backgrounds of proven experience, who have run, owned and managed businesses just like yours if not bigger and have experienced what you are experiencing now.
The IBD pride themselves in sharing their experience, so if you choose to employ an adviser, you benefit from the groups knowledge and experience as well as the individual you have employed.
IBD Yorkshire members cover a huge area of professions and experience, from accountancy to Ecommerce to marketing, to strategic planning to just getting their hands dirty. There can be few situations where there there is not a qualified adviser to assist.
Although mainly based within Yorkshire, some work can be done further North in the North East and into Lincolnshire, depending on the projects involved.
Many members have close contacts with the MCCR who deliver projects for the Manufacturing Advisory Service, within Yorkshire and funded by Yorkshire Forward.
The IBD meet once a month to share experience and support and regularly have guest speakers, contact us if you wish to be considered as a guest speaker.
A key feature of what the IBD offers is the free business health check, visit the relevant page to find out if this free service can help you.
